The Firm
We are a sophisticated, women-owned boutique firm providing legal services to U.S. and global companies. Our lawyers have represented a range of clients, some very large global enterprises while others are mid-sized and smaller U.S. based businesses. We opened our doors on June 1, 2012, having practiced together for a number of years as colleagues and partners in other Chicago firms.
Our lawyers bring a uniformly high level of education, training and experience. All of us joined the firm with many years experience, usually as partners, either in leading AmLaw 100 firms or as senior leaders in Fortune 100 corporate law departments. All of us have represented companies in substantial litigations or transactions. We have an unusual affinity for engagements involving science or technology. Some of us have advanced doctoral degrees or technical backgrounds of a level to be members of the patent bar.
We play an active role in advancing diversity at the national and local levels, through our individual and law firm activities. Our lawyers are frequent invited speakers at many programs about diversity in the legal profession and devote hundreds of hours to these issues. As examples, one of our partners founded the NAWL Annual Survey of Retention and Advancement of Women in Law Firms and also created the first-ever National Survey of Womens Initiatives in Law Firms.
We concentrate our practices in these areas: Complex Litigation, Compliance and Corporate Governance, Employment, Life Sciences, Food, and Antitrust.
