Billy Kramer focuses his legal practice on intellectual property (IP), entertainment, employment, corporate structuring, defamation and general litigation. He counsels entrepreneurs, businesses – from start-ups to multi-national conglomerates, and creatives, including but not limited to musicians, record labels, fashion designers, filmmakers, actors, photographers, galleries, and their respective agents, in a wide array of matters.
Before joining the Firm, Mr. Kramer was Principal Attorney of his solo practice for five years, having previously served as an Associate at Saper Law Offices, LLC. Prior to that, he was General Counsel and Head of Operations for Aquinas Capital Management, LLC.
Mr. Kramer has served as both Chair and Vice-Chair of the Chicago Bar Association Media & Entertainment Committee. Additionally, he contributes pro bono legal services for both the Lawyers for the Creative Arts and the National Institute for Justice Center.
Mr. Kramer received his B.A. from the University of Dayton in 2002. He graduated from DePaul University College of Law in 2005, where he was selected as a Jeanne M. & Joseph P. Sullivan Human Rights Fellowship for 2003-2004.
