Founding Partner Stephanie Scharf Featured in Chicago Lawyer Magazine

Partner  Stephanie A Scharf is profiled in the Chicago Lawyer June 2017 cover story on “The Certification Question.” The article features a number of women-owned firm leaders discussing the benefits of certification through the Women’s Business Enterprise National Council (WBENC) and the National Association of Minority and Women Owned Law Firms (NAMWOLF). 

As the article highlights, Scharf Banks Marmor LLC is the only Chicago firm certified by both organizations, and the Firm “provides Big Law quality with fewer hurdles.” Ms. Scharf discussed that certification may help to attract large corporations looking to hire diverse outside counsel but "we do not get the business because we are women-owned.  We get the business because of the quality of our lawyering and what we can do.”  To read the full article click here.
