Partner Stephanie Scharf Appointed Special Advisor to the ABA’s Standing Committee on Bar Activities and Services

Stephanie Scharf has been appointed by the incoming President of the American Bar Association (Mary Smith) as Special Advisor to the ABA’s Standing Committee on Bar Activities and Services. In concert with the ABA Division for Bar Services, the Standing Committee helps to develop bar leaders, assists organizations with strategic planning, board development, membership surveys and succession planning, and shares best practices, policies and other key information for governance and administration of organizations.  Stephanie has extensive national and local experience with bar leadership activities, including as a former President of the National Association of Women Lawyers, as a member of the Board of the Illinois Bar Foundation and of the Chicago Bar Foundation, and as Chair of the ABA Commission on Women in the Profession.
