Partner Stephanie Scharf Honored with NAWL 2017 Public Service Award

Congratulations to partner Stephanie Scharf for receiving the National Association of Women Lawyers (NAWL) 2017 Public Service Award for her career-long commitment to exemplary public service and social responsibility. Scharf was honored at the NAWL Mid-Year Meeting and Awards Luncheon on March 10 in Chicago, the subject of which was Shaping the Future of the Profession: Partnering for Progress. In her acceptance speech, Scharf encouraged women to step out of line and take chances, and that in doing so they not only benefit others, they will no doubt find like-minded lawyers with whom they can grow their own personal network and practice. Scharf also spoke about the influence on her own career of women from earlier generations who paved the way for change and success of others.
