Partners Sarah Marmor, Stephanie Scharf, and George Sax Publish Treatise

Scharf Banks Marmor LLC is proud to announce that Firm partners Stephanie Scharf, George Sax and Sarah Marmor are Editors of the 2025 national treatise, “Product Liability Litigation: Current Law, Strategies and Best Practices,” published by the Practising Law Institute (PLI).  This new edition includes 36 chapters written by distinguished lawyers specializing in all aspects of product litigation and appeals.

Scharf, Sax and Marmor authored a key chapter, “Expert Evidence – Law, Strategies, and Best Practices,” which covers recent updates to the Federal Rules of Evidence, rules of discovery, and state law changes across the U.S.  Other chapters cover such provocative topics as the Supreme Court’s recent preemption jurisprudence, the impact of blockchain technology on product litigation, and regulating cannabis, to name a few.

The Editors all agree that their treatise was a “labor of love and grew out of our combined decades of experience as specialists in product litigation.”
