Scharf Banks Marmor Partner Ted Banks Comments on Moving From a Law Firm to a Corporate Law Department

Scharf Banks Marmor partner Ted Banks was quoted in an article that appeared in Law360 about the move from a law firm to a corporate law department.  Banks, who spent more than 30 years as an in-house lawyer at Kraft foods, noted that this move may be most appealing to lawyers who have a deep interest in business.  If one has a business orientation “you'll always have more fun being inside the organization than being outside. Because if you're outside counsel, you’re always going to be one step removed.”
