Susan Rider to Speak at Upcoming Seminar on DEI in the Workplace

Scharf Banks Marmor Partner Susan Rider will be a featured panelist at The Federal Bar Association Chicago Chapter’s Annual Employment Law Seminar on January 24, 2024. Susan is speaking on a panel entitled: Affirmative Action and DEI in the Workplace, discussing Supreme Court case law and its impact on employer diversity initiatives. Joined by panelists from EEOC, as well as corporate and plaintiffs’ employment counsel. Susan brings her considerable wealth of experience as a senior in house counsel and current trusted advisor to global companies to bear on this complex issue.

The panel will explore the many ways that companies can continue to pursue diversity in their workplaces, while recognizing the shift in the legal landscape following the Students For Fair Admissions, Inc. v. President And Fellows Of Harvard College decision.
