Ted Banks Interviewed by the Illinois Supreme Court Commission on Professionalism
As part of its video training program on diversity and inclusion, Partner Ted Banks was interviewed by the Illinois Supreme Court Commission on Professionalism on October 11, 2017. The Commission promotes among both lawyers and judges in Illinois greater integrity, professionalism and civility; fosters commitment to the elimination of bias and divisiveness within the legal and judicial systems; and ensures those systems provide equitable, efficient and effective service to the citizens of Illinois. Mr. Banks spoke about the importance of diversity in the legal profession, and the challenges in that area faced by law firms and in-house legal departments. He addressed what law firms and companies could do to encourage more hiring and retention of women and minority attorneys.
