The June 2015 edition of Inside Counsel interviews several lawyers, including partner Stephanie Scharf, about the prospects for securities class actions. Scharf covered a range of topics, among them that companies can take steps to minimize the risk of suit. Noting that “good compliance policies are good business,” Scharf enumerated the various ways in which corporate programs can provide buffers against legal liabilities.
